Missouri Corn pleased with biofuels package
The Missouri Corn Growers Association is pleased with the biofuels package. Bradley Schad is director of Market Development and Ethanol, “The damage had already been done but this corrects that. We hope to move forward – we’re going to do our due diligence and make sure all this comes out in the right way.”
Schad tells Brownfield Ag News he’s pleased Trump came down on the side of corn farmers and ethanol producers, “This is exactly what we were hoping for and expecting. The oil industry is a very powerful industry. It doesn’t matter which administration is in power. They have a lot of lobbying and a lot of money to go after their enemies. And, so, we are very pleased that what has been done to make sure that 15 Billion gallons is out there. But, we really, really appreciate the president doing right for farmers and the ethanol industry with this announcement.”
