Missouri crops improve over last week
USDA says more than three quarters of Missouri’s corn and soybean crop remain in good to excellent condition.
As of Sunday, Missouri’s corn condition is rated 81% good to excellent, a 4% improvement over last week with 44% of the crop dented. Soybean condition is rated 77% good to excellent, a 3% improvement from last week with 64% of the crop setting pods.
The cotton condition is rated 55% good with more than 66% of the crop setting bolls. Rice conditions are rated 71% good to excellent with 81% of rice headed.
The state’s pasture and range conditions are rated 74% good to excellent condition.
