Missouri Rice Council rejoins USA Rice
The Missouri Rice Research and Merchandising Council has rejoined USA Rice Federation.
That means the state will participate in national rice advocacy and promotion efforts, giving Missouri rice producers access to USA Rice domestic and international market development programs, advocacy and research initiatives.
Mollie Buckler, with the Missouri Rice Council and who recently led the U.S. Rice Producers Association, will also join Missouri in this transition.
USA Rice says it plans to spend the summer reorganizing committees and boards to ensure Missouri is represented in the federation.
