MO ag infrastructure could be in special session
Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe says capital improvement funding could be on the agenda when he calls a special legislative session, “You know, the House position on trying to leave a significant amount of money on the bottom line for future years that we might see a tougher budget process, I respect their position doing that…the House and Senate leadership…did a great job of working through the other bills, so at least the answer to House Bill 19 is that we’re reviewing what our options are on that bill at this time.”
The Missouri House killed House Bill 19 a week before the state session ended.
Funding for infrastructure surrounding the new Governor Mike Parson Arena at the Missouri State Fair, and other infrastructure funding, was included in the legislation.
Kehoe says a date for the session hasn’t been decided yet.
