Monumental Marketplace highlights Indiana agriculture
Indiana agriculture was on display during the third annual Indiana Grown Monumental Marketplace.
More than 100 farmers, artisans, and businesses participated in the pop-up market featuring locally grown food, drinks and more.
Indiana Grown Program Manager Heather Tallman says the marketplace is a good representation of everything Indiana has to offer.
“I think we’ve shown that agriculture is everywhere- it’s beer, wine, ice cream, popcorn, and it’s all right here,” she says.
Indiana Grown, a statewide initiative that launched four years ago, highlights locally grown products.
And Tallman says the initiative continues to grow…
“We have members in every county,” she says. “Our goal is to elevate and promote all forms of agriculture from food, fiber, and fuel. And it’s free to join.”
