MSU Pavilion receives major commitment from Michigan Farm Bureau

The Michigan Farm Bureau Family of Companies is partnering with Michigan State University to expand the livestock pavilion on campus.

Vice President of Marketing Deb Dansby with Michigan Farm Bureau Insurance tells Brownfield, “We have partnered with MSU under a 15-year agreement to infuse a little over $6.3 million.”

“We’re really looking forward to working with the College of Agriculture and being able to extend that partnership to expand the pavilion for another indoor arena,” she shares.

The facility will be renamed the Farm Bureau Pavilion at Michigan State University and undergo a complex-wide modernization.

“They are currently finalizing the new renderings of the expansion, and I believe they have a plan to release those in the coming months,” she says. “They are also working with several other sponsors that may become part of this initiative to continue to raise funds for those efforts.”

Michigan Farm Bureau previously spearheaded a $67 million MSU Livestock Initiative in 1989 to renovate and expand campus livestock facilities which led to the construction of the current pavilion in 1996.
