Not much progress in Wisconsin fields

Winter-like weather, Thanksgiving and deer hunting resulted in not much activity in Wisconsin fields last week. The weekly Crop Progress Report from the National Ag Statistics Service Wisconsin Field Office shows 78 percent of the state’s corn-for-grain is harvested, a 5-point increase over last week but still 12 points behind the five-year average.

Topsoil moisture about the same as a week ago with 77 percent adequate and 20 percent surplus.
