National FFA members recognized for academic achievement

Seven National FFA members have been named U.S. Presidential Scholars, one of the highest honors for high school students. The students are recognized for their accomplishments in academics, the arts, career and technical education.

FFA members Lynn Dyber from Higginsville, Missouri; Ezra Linnan of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin and Faith Genzlinger from Winfred, South Dakota have received the honors.

There are 3.7 million students expected to graduate from high school this year, 5,700 qualified and only 161 students received the award. Recipients receive a medal and commendation in the online National Recognition Program.
