National FFA Sponsors Board announces priorities for 2025

The new chair of the National FFA Sponsors Board says continuing to offer career development activities will be a priority in 2025.

Aaron Wetzel is the vice president of production and precision ag systems at John Deere.

“FFA is very focused on developing its members to continue to create a robust pipeline of talent across over 350 careers in agriculture,” he says.

He tells Brownfield the sponsors board supports the organization and ag education across the U.S.

“We work very collaboratively with the leadership of the National FFA to provide guidance and insights to help them further new programs for students, but also how we can help drive more funding and financial support for the FFA’s continuous mission,” he says.

Wetzel says the skills he learned during his time as an FFA member helped develop his career success at John Deere.
