Nebraska corn rated 77 percent good to excellent

Timely rainfall across parts of Nebraska has helped crop conditions improve. 

The USDA says 76 percent of corn is silking,  20 percent in the dough stage, and rated 77 percent good-to-excellent. Soybeans are 73 percent blooming, 34 percent setting pods, and rated 67 percent rated good to excellent.

Winter wheat harvest is 79 percent complete.

Pasture and range conditions are 46 percent good-to-excellent.
