Nebraska Farm Bureau president Steve Nelson is retiring

Nebraska Farm Bureau president Steve Nelson plans to retire at the end of the year.

In making the announcement, Nelson said it’s time to “start a new chapter in life” with more time for family, friends and new adventures.

Nelson, who farms near Axtell in south central Nebraska, has served as president since December 2011.
