Nebraska harvest nearly complete

Nebraska winter wheat planting is complete.

According to the latest crop progress and conditions report from the USDA, corn is 94 percent harvested for grain. Soybeans are 99 percent harvested.

Winter wheat is 40 percent adequate to surplus and 90 percent emerged. Sorghum is 85 percent harvested.

Topsoil moisture is 28 ​percent adequate to surplus and subsoil moisture is ​21 percent adequate to surplus.
