Nebraska Water Conference is April 29-30

The sixth annual Nebraska Water Conference takes place April 29th and 30th in Lincoln. Thisyear’s theme is “Blue Gold: When Water Meets Money”.

Conference coordinator Lorrie Benson of the UNL Water Center says several conference sessions will be devoted to the topic of water banking and marketing.

“There’s definitely afeeling among many folks in Nebraska that our future water management toolbox needs to include banking and marketing,” Benson says.

Benson says climate and water change will also be discussed at the conference.
