Nebraska’s crops are in good shape, overall, heading into September.

The good to excellent ratings for corn, sorghum and soybeans continue to run above 80 percent. As of Sunday, nine percent of corn and seven percent of sorghum were mature and 15 percent of soybeans were dropping leaves.

Pasture and range conditions rated 77 percent good to excellent.
