New features coming to 2025 Farm Technology Days
Wisconsin’s 2025 Farm Technology Days will have another way to arrive easily and a new after-hours feature.
Retired farmer and pilot Jim Curns is on the planning committee. He tells Brownfield there will be a shuttle service between the show grounds and the nearby Clintonville Airport. “I said has anybody considered any sort of a shuttle service to go from the airport because most Farm Technology Days don’t do that, and in this case, it just works because we’re close enough to an airport and they said go with it, and so I’m the one who has organized that part of the event.”
Curns says he has already heard from a group of vendors and a couple of farmers that plan to take advantage of the airport shuttle.
After the show closes for the day August 6th, Farm Technology Days will have its first tractor pull. Peyton Griepentrog has been preparing the track. “We’re going to have the 7,300 pound, 9,500 pound hot farm, the 12,500 pound, the 13,500 pound, and the 640 pulling classes here so it will be a lot of high horsepower groups here and a lot of smoke. It should be a really fun show.”
Farm Technology Days will be hosted by Clinton Farms in Bear Creek in Waupaca County August 5th through the 7th. This will be the third time since 1978 the Clinton family has hosted the event.
