Sculptor sees more in butter than just bread topping

Sharon BuMann Sharon BuMann has for years turned hundreds of pounds of butter into art at the Illinois State Fair. When this year’s piece was unveiled, BuMann explained that her research into Abraham Lincoln’s early years revealed nuances to the man who would become the nation’s 16th president and also details of the dairy animals that they revered and depended on for nutrition.
