Nominations for Amazing Ag Kids award needed

The Amazing Ag Kids program provides up to $5,000 each year to kids up to 14 years old who demonstrate achievements and service to communities in the fields of agriculture or nutrition.

Applications are due Aug. 31, 2013. Awards are available to children of United Agribusiness League member-affiliated families.

Ag teachers, counselors, ag employers or community leaders can nominate students for the award. Past winners have been Dairy Princesses, 4-H Youth Members, youth barn painting leaders and more.
