November ethanol exports up sharply on month
Ethanol exports during November were 187.6 million gallons.
The Renewable Fuels Association says that total was up 31% from October and pushed annual ethanol exports to an all-time high, even without December’s numbers.
Canada remained the top destination for the 44th month in a row, while the European Union took in its largest monthly volume in four years. The United Kingdom, Colombia, and the Philippines rounded out the top five.
Exports of distillers dried grains with solubles were 946,804 tons, a decline of 15% on the month, with slower movement to Mexico, South Korea, and Colombia canceling out increases to several other countries.
The final 2024 U.S. ethanol and DDGS export numbers will be out in February.
