OABA brings ag leaders together to tackle issues

The President and CEO of the Ohio AgriBusiness Association says Ohio ag leaders representing grain, feed, seed, fertilizer, and agrichemical are working together to address issues facing agriculture.

“We’ve had some depressed commodity prices and questions about the future and some folks are saying it does look a little brighter,” he says.

Chris Henney says that’s the message members heard during the sixth annual OABA industry conference.

He tells Brownfield they also addressed leadership, workforce development, and technical farming issues…

“The dicamba issue, nitrogen and phosphorus management, water quality, the grain markets and what the future weather looks like,” he says.”
