Ohio Corn Marketing Program officers

Wood County corn farmer Paul Herringshaw has been elected chairman of the Ohio Corn Marketing Program (OCMP) for 2012.

“I’m confident that our new officers will help develop and expand markets for corn to financially safeguard Ohio’s corn producers,” said OCMP Interim Executive Director Tadd Nicholson.

The new officers are responsible for monitoring and taking action regarding legislative issues about the education, transportation, risk-management and industrial demand of the sector.

Joining Herringshaw on the officer teams are:

Mark Schweibert of Hamler, Vice Chairman

Brian Harbage of South Charleston, Secretary

Les Imboden of Ashville, Treasurer
