Ohio Proud, Homegrown by Heroes partner

It won’t be long before you start seeing the Homegrown by Heroes label along with the Ohio Proud label.

Ohio Director of Agriculture Dave Daniels signed the partnership agreement on Veteran’s Day.

“And this is one of those ways we can identify products that are produced by our veterans and help them market them to Ohio consumer’s,” Daniels said. “We’re very proud of this relationship.”

There are currently 10 farmers in Ohio that have been certified under the Homegrown by Heroes program. That number is expected to grow with the signing of the partnership agreement with Ohio Proud.
