Ohio State Fair honored for soy exhibit

The International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE) has awarded the Ohio State Fair an award of distinction for its soybean education program at the 2012 fair.

In addition, the Ohio State Fair received first place in its attendance division for the “educational event, exhibit or program for the fair going public – soy use” category and was also awarded the coveted Judge’s Choice Award for the entire Soybean and Environmental Sustainability Awards competition, a new award category, developed to encourage fairs to utilize soy products in their operations.

The program during the 2012 Ohio State Fair was developed in partnership with the Ohio Soybean Council and the soybean checkoff.
