Olson remains Wisconsin Farm Bureau President
Wisconsin’s Farm Bureau President will serve a second term. Board members re-elected Brad Olson from Frederic during Monday’s reorganizational meeting. The board also picked Brian Preder from Weyauwega as President of Rural Mutual Insurance, replacing Kevin Krentz who did not seek re-election to the board.
This means Farm Bureau and Rural Mutual Insurance will have separate presidents for the second consecutive year after nearly 90 years of having one president.
Other board changes include Jim Renn of Waukesha County, was elected to a three-year term in District 1 succeeding Dave Daniels of Kenosha County and Pete Badtke of Green Lake County succeeding Kevin Krentz of Waushara County.
Steve Mueller from St. Croix County was elected to a one-year term as the chair of the Promotion and Education Committee. Kendall Riskedal from Jefferson County was elected to a one-year term as the chair of the Young Farmer and Agriculturist Committee. Both will serve on the Wisconsin Farm Bureau board.
