Parson signs bill that he calls “big win” for agriculture

Missouri Governor Mike Parson has signed the bill into law that protects concentrated animal feeding operations from any county-by-county regulations designed to be stricter than state regulations.

Parson says the bill is a “big win for Missouri farmers, ranchers and agribusinesses.”

The governor will hold a ceremonial signed at the annual Missouri Cattlemen’s Steak Fry in Sedalia next Saturday (June 8th.)
