Perdue denies climate research withheld

Ag Secretary Perdue has refuted a report by Politico that says the USDA has withheld agency research into climate change from the public.

In an interview with CNN Tuesday, Perdue said he absolutely wants that research to be made public and that he meets with climate scientists on a regular basis.

But, Perdue downplayed climate change concerns in that interview saying it’s “weather patterns.”
