Rollins says farmers could face some uncertainty amid tariff tensions

Ag Secretary Brooke Rollins says the President is focused on improving the balance of trade for the United States. “For our farmers and our ranchers, they understand that there may be a short time of uncertainty,” she says. 

She told reporters outside the White House on Thursday that there will be an adjustment period for the economy, but this was just step one in the President’s plan. “This will be a short time of uncertainty,” she says.  “Then we’ll move back to the prosperity that this President has envisioned, that he is so bold and so willing to fight for. And I couldn’t be more proud and stand next to him, and the new Golden Age of Prosperity will move in.”

Rollins says she remains focused on improving conditions for America’s farmers and ranchers.
