SD grain harvest ahead of average

Soybean and corn harvest continue ahead of average in South Dakota.

USDA’s Crop Progress report says soybean harvest is 72% complete and corn harvest is 37% complete. Corn conditions are rated 51% good to excellent.

Sorghum harvest is 50% complete and sunflower harvest is 10% complete, both near the average pace for this time of the year.

Pasture and rangeland conditions are rated 62% good to excellent.
