Study shows relationships with ag equipment dealers remains important to farmers
A new study from Purdue University shows that farmers value relationships with their ag equipment dealers as they continue to build out their operations.
Scott Downey is with the Center for Food and Agricultural Business.
“It’s been a fairly consistent response over time showing that those individual relationships remain a very important factor in the buying behavior of farmers,” he says. “Out of all of the things that we measure, this has been the most stable.”
Downey says agribusinesses that continue to invest in customer relationships will be better positioned in the future.
