Sullivan Supply offers scholarships

High school seniors and college students under 21 can apply for a $1,000 scholarship from Sullivan Supply.

Twenty scholarships will be awarded this year.

Application requirements:

• List/describe, in 500 words or less, all of your school, community, 4-H and/or FFA involvements.
• Write an essay, of 500 words or less, describing your involvement and experience in the livestock showing and/or raising industry along with your future goals and career plans.
• One letter of recommendation must accompany each application. One only, please.

Applicants must display a great passion for the livestock show industry and/or livestock production. An agriculture major or a career goal in livestock is not a requirement but a continued future involvement in the livestock industry is.

U.S. and Canadian residents only. Previous scholarship recipients not eligible.

Deadline to apply is April 15, 2013.
