“The world wants U.S. ethanol,” ACE CEO says as exports climb

U.S. ethanol exports remained strong in 2025.

American Coalition for Ethanol CEO Brian Jennings says that’s one of the highlights looking back on the year.

“Export markets have continued to be a shining star for this industry. Set a record in 2024, we will once again set a record in 2025. The world wants United States ethanol.”

He tells Brownfield there are two primary drivers.

“Number one, it’s low cost. Number two, it’s low carbon. And the world wants low cost, low carbon fuels. So really a bright shining star.”

Jennings, who spoke to Brownfield during the 2025 NAFB Convention in Kansas City last week, says Canada continues to be the top destination for U.S. ethanol exports and he expects demand to stay strong in 2026.
