Traceability conference scheduled for Des Moines inJune

A two-day conference on agricultural and food traceability is coming to Des Moines in June. The conference is jointly sponsored by the Value-Added AgricultureProgram, the Iowa Beef Center and the Iowa Grain Quality Initiative.

Organizers say the conference will serve as a “state-of-the-art information source on traceability and supply chain management of agricultural commodity products.” It will also demonstrate howtraceability can meet many of the needs of modern food businesses.

The dates of the conference are June 9th and 10th. Location is the Renaissance Savery Hotel in Des Moines.
