Trump selects Vaden to serve as Deputy Secretary of Ag

President-elect Donald Trump has nominated Stephen Vaden as the next Deputy Secretary of Agriculture.  Vaden served in Trump’s first administration as the General Counsel of the USDA and was a board member of the Commodity Credit Corporation. 

In December 2020, Vaden was confirmed as an Article III Judge on the Court of International Trade. 

Vaden resides in Tennessee, where he helps manage his family farm.
