Trump to speak to Farm Bureau members in January
President Donald Trump will speak at the American Farm Bureau Federation’s annual convention in January.
AFBF President Zippy Duvall says Trump recognizes the importance of agriculture and the difficulties that farmers and ranchers face.
Duvall says the economic issues the President has outlined – including tax and regulatory reform match many of the issues of the organization.
He says that the creation of the Interagency Task Force on Agriculture and Rural Prosperity also highlights the administration’s emphasis on agriculture.
Trump would be the first president to speak to the Farm Bureau since George H.W. Bush in 1992.
The American Farm Bureau Federation’s 99th annual convention will be January 5-10 in Nashville.
