Tyson and JBS to pay $127M settlement in wage-fixing case

JBS and Tyson Foods will pay more than $127 million as part of a settlement in an employee wage-fixing case.

The lawsuit claimed the two meat packing giants allegedly took part in a conspiracy to suppress meat industry wages. As part of the settlement, Tyson will pay $72.3 million in compensation and JBS agreed to pay $55 million.

Both companies have denied the allegations.
