U.S. corn, soybean ending stocks could be up on month

The USDA is expected to report minimal changes to U.S. corn, soybean, and wheat ending stocks projections.

Ahead of the report, on average, analysts see modest month to month increases for domestic corn and soybean ending stocks, up 5 million on beans to 430 million and 112 million bushels higher for corn at 2.004 billion, because of heavy levels of export competition and, in the case of corn, a slowdown in demand for ethanol production.

Wheat ending stocks are expected to be unchanged on the month at 940 million bushels.

The USDA will also be updating world supply, demand, and production estimates.

The report is out Thursday at Noon Eastern/11 AM Central.
