U.S. Senate advances more USDA nominees

The U.S. Senate Ag Committee has approved three USDA nominees out of committee this week.

Mindy Brashears is being considered for the Under Secretary of Food Safety, Stella Yvette Herrell as the Assistant Secretary of Agriculture for Congressional Affairs and External Relations, and John Walk as the Inspector General of the Department of Agriculture.

The three nominees will now be considered by the full U.S. Senate.
