Wisconsin CAFO update meetings

University of Wisconsin Extension will hold seven “update” meetings for Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations in February. The meetings are intended for Wisconsin Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (WPDES) permitted CAFO owners, managers, consultants and others affiliated with these operations.

The workshops will focus on improvements made to nutrient management plan implementation, improving communication between plan writers, permit holders and DNR, and updates on regulations that affect CAFOs.

Meetings will be held in Jefferson, Green Bay, New London, Dodgeville, Fond du Lac, Marshfield and Rice Lake. Details and registration forms are available at http://go.wisc.edu/e00x60.  They ask that you register for the workshop you wish to attend at least one week in advance.
