Wisconsin FFA Hall of Fame gets new location

2015 FFA Hall of Fame

The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture has set aside a room in the lobby area as the new Hall of Fame room.  The area will house the Wisconsin FFA Hall of Fame honorees.  Until now, the FFA Hall photos and plaques have been on display at DATCP but now they will have their own room.

The official opening of the room will take place after the DATCP Board meeting on Wednesday, July 15th.  Secretary Ben Brancel will make the presentation. The 2015 Hall of Fame inductees and their families have been invited, Jeff Hicken, state FFA advisor along with state FFA officers, DATCP board members and staff will be present.

The Wisconsin FFA Hall of Fame was established in 1995.  The first “class” was the three “mainstays” of the Wisconsin FFA for decades: Arnold Cordes, Floyd Doering and Virgil Martinson.  The Class of 2015 pictured above includes Kim Havens, Glen Lindner and Jim Marks (posthumous).
