Wisconsin good-to-excellent crop ratings: corn 65%, soybeans 69%

The USDA’s latest good to excellent ratings for Wisconsin crops are 65% for corn and 69% for soybeans.

Corn silking reached 53% and 4% has reached the dough stage.

Soybeans blooming reached 66% and 29% of the crop is setting pods.

Ninety-seven percent of winter wheat was coloring as of Sunday. Forty-six percent of the winter wheat crop is harvested. The crop is rated 64% good to excellent.

Seventy-four percent of oats have colored and 24% of the crop is harvested. Wisconsin oats are rated 76% good to excellent.

Potatoes are rated 85% good to excellent and 6% of the crop is harvested.
