World record soybean yield set at 206.7 bushels per acre
Advancements in plant breeding, biotechnology, and detailed farm management practices helped Georgia farmer Alex Harrell set the world record for soybeans.
He tells Brownfield growing season conditions were favorable and the late group 4 soybeans had good emergence, standability, and high yield potential. He says the product showed resistance to SCN and was a good fit for his growing area.
