Iowa Food & Family Project ‘involves’ the consumer

Since it began in 2011, the Iowa Food & Family Project (IFFP) has been “uniting farmers and consumers by creating opportunities for engagement through conversations and activities”.
“As the old saying goes, ‘Tell me and I’ll forget. Show me and I’ll remember. Involve me and I’ll understand’,” says Aaron Putze, communications director for the Iowa Soybean Association and IFFP coordinator. “We’ve always put a premium on involving, because that leads to better understanding and greater trust.”
At the recent Farm Progress Show, Putze gave us an update on some recent IFFP projects.
