Let the data do the talking
At the On-Farm Network Conference, Roger Wolf, the Iowa Soybean Association’s Environmental Programs Director, talked about data driving sustainability. The Iowa Soybean Association’s On Farm Network uses data to help manage nutrient use on farmland. “We focus a lot on the natural resources and environmental outcomes and try to work with farmers to continuously improve those,” Wolf told Brownfield Ag News, during an interview at the conference, in Ames, Iowa. The data that’s collected in the process is put to work to result in soybean production that’s sustainable.
