Maximize return with the right machinery
Great Plains is a privately held company, still owned by the same family that started the business in 1976. The company started with grain drills and over the years has added full line tillage, row crop planters and pull type sprayers.
National Sales Manager Mike Cleveland said Great Plains is known for being innovative and introducing new products with new concepts. At Ag Connect Expo this week, Cleveland and other Great Plains representatives are talking to farmers about vertical tillage and twin row planters.
Cleveland tells Brownfield that it is important for farmers to maximize their return on every piece of machinery on every acre. Vertical tillage leaves the residue on top of the surface and maintains the soil structure. The twin row concept for corn is to get more plants, more ears and more yield from every acre.
Great Plains equipment is used in 49 states and 60 countries.
