Unseasonably mild weather continues for most of the Heartland; an active pattern to resume

Looking ahead, the 6- to 10day outlook calls for the likelihood of near- or above-normal temperatures nationwide, except for cooler-than-normal conditions across Florida’s peninsula. 

Meanwhile, above-normal precipitation in southern Florida and from the Pacific Coast to the Plains should contrast with drier-than-normal weather east of the Mississippi River, excluding the Deep South.
