Weather

An “El Nino” driven, unseasonably mild pattern ahead next week across much of the Heartland

Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for the likelihood of near- or above-normal temperatures and near- or below-normal precipitation across most of the country.  Cooler-than-normal conditions will be confined to the lower Rio Grande Valley and parts of the lower Southeast.

Meanwhile, wetter-than-normal weather should be limited to the southern Atlantic region and the south-central U.S., including Texas and portions of neighboring states.
