A mild to unseasonably warm pattern for many; showery weather to wind-down for some

Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for the likelihood of near- or above-normal temperatures nationwide, except for cooler-than-normal conditions in portions of the Great Lakes region. 

Meanwhile, near- or below-normal precipitation across much of the North should contrast with wetter-than-normal weather in the southern half of the U.S. and along the northern Atlantic Coast.
