An active, moisture-laden pattern to continue across the Heartland; a wide-range of temps

Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for the likelihood of near- or above-normal temperatures from the Plains to the East Coast, while colder-than-normal conditions will cover the West. 

Meanwhile, near- or above-normal precipitation across most of the country should contrast with drier-than-normal conditions in a few areas, including Florida’s peninsula and an area stretching from southern California to the southern High Plains.
