Brownfield Ag Weather Today
A potentially volatile fire situation will persist in the coastal ranges of southern California through Wednesday, as howling winds and low humidity levels could lead to explosive wildfire growth. Much of the remainder of the country will experience tranquil weather, although a reinforcement of frigid air could lead to sub-0°F temperatures on Wednesday as far south as the Ohio Valley. Late in the week, yet another cold blast will rapidly spread southeastward across the Rockies and Plains, preceded and accompanied by snow showers. During the upcoming weekend, readings below 0°F will be commonly observed across the northwestern half of the Plains and the upper Midwest. Farther east, late-week precipitation will break out across the eastern one-third of the U.S. in advance of the cold blast, with some heavy rain possible in the Southeast.
