Brownfield Ag Weather Today
A surge of cool air into the Midwest and Northeast could result in scattered frost on Wednesday morning as far south as the lower Ohio Valley, while any lingering Northeastern rain and snow showers will end by the middle of the week. Meanwhile, gusty winds should lead to a significantly elevated Southwestern wildfire threat during the next several days, especially in the southern Rockies. Farther north, a sprawling but disorganized area of precipitation will develop by mid-week from the Sierra Nevada to the northern Rockies and northern Intermountain West, with significant snow possible at higher elevations in Wyoming and environs. Late in the week, unsettled weather will shift farther east, with showers and thunderstorms expected to develop from the southern Plains into the Midwest. Five-day rainfall could total 1 to 3 inches or more from central Texas into the middle Mississippi Valley.
