Brownfield Ag Weather Today
A pesky disturbance drifting across the Southeast will deliver heavy showers and thunderstorms during the next couple of days, with widespread totals of 2 to 4 inches expected in the middle Atlantic States. Higher amounts may occur on southeast-facing slopes of the central and southern Appalachians. Meanwhile, a storm system arriving in the Northwest will shift eastward, with precipitation intensity peaking around the middle of the week in the north-central U.S. Storm-total rainfall could reach 1 to 2 inches or more in Minnesota, the Dakotas, and portions of neighboring states, with cooler air in the rain’s wake breaking an early-season heat wave. In contrast, dry weather will prevail for the remainder of the week in the nation’s southwestern quadrant, extending as far east as the southern half of the Plains.
